The Shore Porters Society has a rich heritage of experience and expertise that spans a remarkable five centuries. As leading specialists in removals, haulage and storage, we are renowned worldwide for our professionalism and care in safely transporting people’s most precious possessions across countries and continents.
We are proud of our roots as the oldest transport company in the world, but we also invest in our future, co-ordinating our fully-trained staff and leading-edge vehicles, materials and tracking technology to deliver peace of mind and a quality experience to our customers.
Trade Association Membership
Shore Porters is a member of BAR (British Association of Removers) and FIDI (Federation Internationale de Demenageurs International) and is financially bonded by BAR Overseas Group, which is your personal guarantee for complete peace of mind. We are also a regularly-audited member of the US-based Household Goods Forwarders Association of AMERICA (HHGFAA) and the Freight Transport Association.
As member of these trade organisations we are required to abide by their codes of practice.
