Shore Porters is a member of BAR (British Association of Removers) and FIDI (Federation Internationale de Demenageurs International). We conform to the FIDI Anti-trust charter and are financially bonded by BAR Overseas Group, which is your personal guarantee for complete peace of mind.
It is standard practice in the removals industry for a mover to request full customer payment prior to a move taking place. The BAR Advanced Payment Guarantee scheme protects this pre-payment, in the event that your selected BAR Member company were to fail financially prior to fulfilling your removal contract.
Every BAR Member is covered by the scheme, and all Cash, BACS and debit card advanced payments are protected for all private residential removal & storage contracts concluded in the UK.
We adhere to the British Association of Removers Alternative Dispute Resolution Scheme which is independently operated by the Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman (FHIO)
