Update: 11th August 2020
The UK remains in the grip of the coronavirus pandemic which has affected most of the planet to varying degrees. With this in mind, over the past few weeks and months, we have reviewed and developed our systems to put in place practices which will hopefully assist in keeping our staff, clients and their families safe during these difficult times.
Our normal removal operations have resumed with the following safeguards in place:
- All removal staff have been issued with face coverings, gloves and hand sanitiser.
- Upon arrival at removal, the crew leader will meet with the householder and carry out a socially distancing walkthrough. Thereafter the householder will be expected to remain in one room, distanced from the removal crew until completion.
- We recommend that your property is thoroughly cleaned before and after removal.
In terms of pre-move surveys:
- Our surveyor is attending properties whilst wearing a face covering and gloves.
- Social distancing of two meters is being maintained where possible.
- Where householders are still shielding, video surveys can be arranged on a number of online platforms.
We appreciate that these are difficult times which can only add to the stress of moving home, but please be assured that we are doing all that we can to reduce the anxiety that our clients are experiencing at this time.
The support of our clients is very much appreciated over what has been a very difficult time and we remain committed to assisting all of our existing and future customers with all of your removal and storage requirements.
Should you have any further queries about how we are operating at this time or wish to enquire about how we can assist you, please contact us by phone on 01224 569569 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Following the guidance provided by the UK and Scottish Governments on Monday 23 March 2020, it is with great reluctance that we have taken the decision to cease removal operations for at least three weeks. Any house removals which had been commenced prior to this date have been completed, however, we will not be starting any new moves until further guidance from the Government allows for a relaxation of movement.
This is a move taken purely with the safety of our staff, clients and their families foremost in our minds. Our office staff are all working from home and are contactable by email. Our main office in Aberdeen remains open for a minimal number of key personnel whose priority at the moment is ensuring clients affected by these measures are contacted and our customers in the food chain who store stock with us are allowed to keep trading and feeding the nation.
We assure you that as soon as we are in a position to recommence full operations, we will do so. In the meantime, we remain available to answer your queries regarding removals and storage along with the facility to conduct online surveys by video link where possible. Please do not hesitate to contact and we will do our utmost to assist in any way that we possibly can.
Thank you for your patience at this time and we recommend following our Facebook and LinkedIn pages for the latest updates on our status.
Please take care and with a little luck, the country, if not the planet, will be in a better place in a few short weeks.
