One of the first steps we’ll take will be to conduct an international pre-move survey to determine which form of transport will best suit your requirements and budget.
For the pre-move survey, it’s important that customers know exactly what they want to move and what they don’t want to move. This means that when our Surveyor arrives, they can swiftly provide you with expert guidance for your unique requirements.
During the survey, we’ll assess the volume of goods being moved, before then advising on key considerations, including how best to pack your items, transportation and, if required, storage.
You will also be provided with any information needed for attaining relevant documentation for your country of destination.
Lastly, through embracing the very latest technology, we log and communicate the details of your move to our Move Manager, who is then able to quickly provide you a detailed quote and move plan.
- Air freight is faster and more cost-effective for small loads
- Ocean freight is generally more cost-effective for larger loads, although the time of transit is longer and you will need to consider additional cost implications, such as whether you will require hotel accommodation while waiting for your possessions to arrive.
